So, I actually had some free time this weekend as you could probably tell from the out of no where blog posts. I decided to bake a dessert I had actually planned for Valentine's but never got too. They turned out really good and easy.
Speaking of Valentines Greg's mom made us this dish towel so cute the little love birds.
preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together 1 box red velvet cake mix, 1/2 cup butter softened to room temp, and 2 eggs.
Look how pretty. LOL I totally got caught sneaking batter-Greg asked me if I was wearing lipstick ;) It winds up being the same consistency as a thick brownie mix.

Drop spoonfuls of batter on cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes.
Mmm, I love red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting so I know I'd enjoy these. I have a sweet treat linky party going on at my blog until tomorrow night and I’d like to invite you to stop by and link your whoopie pies up. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2011/02/sweets-for-saturday-6.html
